Mireille M @RT54922496 Sep 2, 2026 A touching film quebecois that came out in 2023. I had never heard about it untill tonight. Its the story of the relationship between, frere Marie Victorin founder of le Jardin Botanique in montreal. A great scientist ahead of his time who had a passionate but chaste relationship with marcelle Gauvreau ,a student of his and a great scientist as well. It is beautifull tender and very typical of the times in the 30 s and 40 s,in montreal. The actress who played Marcelle is fabulous, the camera loves her,the actor, playing frere marie Victorin, shows well the restraint he had toward Marcelle. You can feel the great passion they had for nature and for each other. It is visually beautifull ,a must if you like nature A little gem.( I saw it in french) See more Read all reviews
