Bret M. @BretM-3 Mar 21 This is a "comfort food" Marvel movie for me. It's not "peak" or "absolute cinema" but it does put a smile on my face and I thought was very fun to watch. Firstly, Nicholas Cage is pretty good as Johnny Blaze in this movie. I do think he is unintentionally funny at times, mainly just because of the way he acts. I also thought the pacing was good. For a movie that's nearly 2 hours long, it went be relatively quick for me. I also loved the tone of the movie. It was dark, but it felt very natural. Like, in my opinion, the 2003 Daredevil is dark and moody but it feels forced. The dark tone feels very natural and really suits the movie. I also feel like the VFX has held up really well. The Ghost Rider head looks really good and the transformation was good too. My biggest complaint though is the villain. I thought Blackheart was a one dimensional, forgettable villain. He had a couple of creepy moments but he didn't even feel very threatening. So overall, you should definitely watch this film See more Dustin L. @Jeffthekiller1 Mar 13 Me personally I don't get the hate against this movie whatsoever yeah there are some parts that are questionable of why was it written this way I get that but overall this movie pretty much captures the beginning and start of the Ghost Rider and I think it is personally one of my favorite in my eyes considered Marvel movies that first introduces Ghost Rider in the live-action industry Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider AKA Johnny Cage is by far one of the best performances I have ever seen he drives the character in the madness with it so well I have watched this movie over and over again as well as the second one and I just can't get over it it's amazing to me I love the transformation scenes I love the motorcycle I love the fights I love everything about this movie and it will never get old to me See more Koen M @Koen.machiels Mar 10 Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze/ Ghost Rider is perfect, Ghost rider is so cool and his powers are insane i hope they bring him in the MCU and the villian is allright, carter slade is cool and the horse to and the whole riding sequence is so tough See more Drake S @TohoGojibetterthanLegendaryGoji Jan 19 It was alright.
