Movie Info
Aspiring composer Kenneth Harvey (Don Ameche) moves to Greenwich Village in New York City, where he meets Danny O'Hara (William Bendix), a club owner putting together a musical show. Sizing up Kenneth as an easy mark, Danny considers taking advantage of him but is prevented by his singing star, Bonnie Watson (Vivian Blaine), who likes Kenneth. Danny persuades Kenneth to write music for his show, and despite Bonnie's attempt to protect him, he falls prey to Danny's friends and his own ambitions.
