Audience Reviews for The Guy From Harlem

It has the production values of a porno, and it does tend to make you wonder what the purpose of this film was. It's hilariously bad, yet barely watchable for that factor alone. The characters are goofy, the action is awful, and it never fixes on a story-line.

A guy from Harlem rescues a kidnapped woman from a drug kingpin. Porno movies of the same era had better acting, direction and production values (and more action). This is bottom-of-the-barrel blaxploitation.

The acting is so incredibly bad, you can't focus on the movie. Very cheap production, the score is horrible. Badly written, very amateurish direction. Garbage.
