...repetitious and surprisingly dull...

Worthy of attention from only the staunchest of '80s archivists.

A gem as memorable as your first attempt at lacing your own shoes. One to be treasured.

Classic '80s movie. What happened to these actors? Can't believe that was Malcolm's mom.

Audience Reviews for The Heavenly Kid

Somewhat humorous but not greatly acted and the plot is quite dumb. Actually, the timeline puts the high school kid at about 20 at the youngest and shows how sloppily put-together this film was.

I'm not sure what it would have been like in the eighties, but it isn't watchable today. It makes for a long ninety minutes. (First and only viewing - 6/30/2014)

A predictable, familiar, old story, but like Back to the Future, says something about the 80s. Mostly this movie is entertaining, and I liked it.
