Oct 6, 2021 The fourth Matrix movie, subtitled Resurrections, is coming out at the end of the year and this documentary has been up on YouTube for about a year now. Seems like the perfect time to watch something like this to keep myself satiated. Offering a chance to see how the iconic sci-fi action movie was made whilst also having commentary about where they got their influences when making it from the usually reclusive Wachowskis, some of The Matrix Revisited's educational behind-the-scenes looks might not be necessary viewing nowadays in an age when you can just read up all the necessary information on Wikipedia - plus the conveniently omitted fact that Will Smith turned down the role of Neo - but it is still nice to see movie magic being made. Really helps you understand just how much of a time-consuming experiment filmmaking can be, especially a big sci-fi blockbuster such as this one. Worth watching if you're a fan of the Wachowskis.
