My Spy: The Eternal City repeats the same problems as the first film, delivering another messy and poorly written sequel. The action-comedy balance never works, the villain is obvious from the start, and the plot leans so hard into silliness that it loses any sense of tension. There are a few fun moments, but they’re scattered and rarely land. The screenplay is the film’s biggest failure. It tries to create stakes and excitement that never materialize, leaving the story feeling hollow and forced. Casting Anna Faris as the villain only amplifies the tonal issues. Her strengths are in broad comedy, and placing her in a role meant to feel threatening makes the film feel even more ridiculous. Dave Bautista remains one-dimensional, delivering flat dialogue with little variation or growth. While this sequel is slightly more watchable than the original, it’s still dull, uninspired, and ultimately not very fun.

This is not family movie with the swears and lewd jokes that should not be in a family friendly movie. Sexualizing kids and underage drinking. Big disappointment and disgusting. Unnecessary sexual jokes.
