Very good fun film for all the family to enjoy
DreamWorks' Over the Hedge, loosely based on the 1995 United Media comic strip of the same name, is both a hidden gem for the renowned animation company and good, clean fun for the whole family, offering some nice visuals, a fair amount of laughs, an investing story, and excellent performances from the cast, all of which should make the experience worth-while. Not infinitely worth-while, but worth-while enough.
Fun unique movie that I'd show my kids
DreamWorks brings us another witty animated project from a book people might not hear about or forget, but the film could bring back memories!
As a kid i was amazed by this movie, And utterly terrified by vincent to the point i had nightmares weekes after i watched it.
Over the Hedge is a 2006 DreamWorks film directed by Karey Kirkpatrick and Tim Johnson. The film stars Bruce Willis as RJ and Garry Shandling as Verne.
The story in my opinion was steady and quiet enjoyable, but nothing that special. The only part of the story which annoyed me was the liar reveal part, but most of the liar reveal story's annoy me anyway.
The voice acting was sound with such cast members as Bruce Willis, William Shatner and Steve Carell, but like the story nothing special.
The characters were mixed for me with a couple good and memorable ones, but also a couple mediocre and forgettable ones.
The cinematography was also steady with a couple cool shots of the characters and scenery here and there.
The animation was strong for the most part, but there were one or two instances in which the animation looked a bit off.
The style of the film was also steady from the colour scheme to the various characters, but again nothing that special.
The comedy like the characters was also mixed with some strong laughs here and there, but also some comedy that fell flat.
The film in my opinion was also quiet enjoyable, and wasn't every really boring.
Over all I give it a
Steady with a few good laughs
This is the best move that ever existed. A true masterpiece. The RJ x Heather hype is real.
Over The Hedge is an absolute cinematic masterpiece of cinema. Amazing film.
Over The Hedge captures the charm of non-Disney 2000s animation perfectly with endearing characters, a wide comedic scope and a star studded cast.
greatest movie I've ever seen but I'm probably heavily influenced by nostalgia. but hopefully not
