Richard C @richcarrccc 5 days ago Of course this film cannot be expected to be a Hollywood Epic the likes of Casablanca, The 10 Commandments, etc., also, the directing, script, cinematography editing, are below movies I've rated 4 stars and that I've ever taken time to have written a positive review for, but for what this film is, I would recommend it, I enjoyed it, it made my day, my week, my month. It was nice to see Robert Pine again and to hear his actual singing voice for the 1st time. I am a fan of Georgia Engel so that was a very nice plus. I had no idea Melora Hardin was in this as well so another pleasant surprise. It's always nice to see the late, unrated and underappreciated Dean Stockwell. The nostalgia, a glimpse at the chaos and unique intricacies growing up with several siblings in a house without enough rooms brought back some good memories. It's simply a well put together, wholesome, family and faith based film that I am so glad I came across, particularly at this place and time in my life. See more Read all reviews
