07/12/2012 The acting is good in this movie based on the true story, but there's not much else going on in terms of suspense. The title sort of gives the movie's twists away immediately, and the only thing keeping this movie together is the solid performances. There's not much else you can embellish since you want to remain faithful to true events to be respectful, so this movie is less than thrilling because of it. Given the title of the movie, we know the outcome of the case from the start. But that doesn't detract from the grip the film has on the viewer. Seol Kyeong-gu's and Kim Nam-joo's performaces as the parents are so strong, that sometimes you almost forget they are acting. Hollywood movie about this subject, such as Ransom, pale in comparison.
