07/21/2021 Krishna: (touches RADA's heart) I know why the caged bird sings. RADA: I am like a ghost light left on in an empty theatre, nothing more. Krishna: The theatre is not empty. RADA: I do make sure the ghosts aren't lonely. Krishna: Which is why you are their light. RADA: It's hard to remember when left alone with only ghosts to babysit. Krishna: The ghosts are very important babies to manage, you know how badly they behave if they think they've been abandoned completely! RADA: They ruin the theatre. Krishna: Yes. And the ghosts depend on this theatre to cleanse them for the next universe. You can't let them down. RADA: Just...(pause) Forget it... Krishna: My dear RADA, what is it? RADA: Can we never show "Cabaret" in this theatre ever again? It gave me PTSD. Krishna: I'm sure the theatre ghosts can live without "Cabaret" if you keep them from destroying their home.
