RICHARD S 10/16/2024 One of 20th Century Fox's best musicals of the late 1940s. June Haver is perfection - singing, dancing, looking beautiful, she had it all. Gene Nelson does some of his best dancing - in one number, he literally hoists himself over June's head. MacRae croons beautifully, and Debbie Reynolds appears authentically as an adolescent kid. A sweet plot makes this a don't miss for anyone who loves old fashioned technicolor musicals! See more Steve D 06/24/2023 You have seen it done better a million times. See more 03/17/2012 Pleasant, light headed nonsense still has its pleasures. Chief among them is Gordon MacRae singing beautifully and so handsome. Debbie Reynolds in her first featured part is pert and bursting with her special brand of energy. The rest of the cast all perform well and the film is loaded with color but it's all a bunch of malarkey. See more 08/19/2011 Another of my Favorite Debbie Reynolds Films See more Read all reviews
