Human child Mowgli is raised by a wolf pack in the jungles of India. As he learns the often harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own, but the fearsome tiger Shere Khan doesn't take a liking to him. But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins.

Intense. Disturbing. Faithful. NOT A FILM FOR CHILDREN. 'The Jungle Book' is often taken as the primary source of adaption for this story. This film is not light, not kind, not animal friendly. It shows nature for what it is. "Tooth and Claw." Do Not, compare this to Disney.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is a film that was judged far too harshly due to comparisons rather than its actual intent. While it’s not a great movie, it’s also nowhere near the disaster many critics made it out to be. This version of the story takes a darker, more grounded approach to the Jungle Book mythos, focusing on survival, identity, and isolation rather than fantasy and charm. That alone makes it stand apart. The film follows Mowgli more closely than previous adaptations, giving the story a raw and sometimes unsettling tone. Unfortunately, the screenplay holds it back. There are noticeable pacing issues, plot holes, and moments where character development feels rushed or incomplete. The ambition is clear, but the execution doesn’t always stick the landing. Visually, the animal designs and motion capture performances are bold, though the CGI can be inconsistent. Direction-wise, the vision is confident, even if the script struggles to support it.

Some of the as animal special effects were really good, eyes very gripping. Minus the big bull elephant, green leaf coat was unrealistic. All in all ok, but not great

This movie was a remake of the 2016 Jungle book. Now normally when you make a remake of a movie you expect it to be better. WRONG this movie highly disappointed me and I look forward to never watching it again. To be honest I would rather watch paint dry its so boring to get through the original Jungle book is miles better compared to this.
