It is a bit gonzo and questionable, but so much more revelatory about the prison experience than anything I've ever seen. Go to Full Review

A wild, possibly crazy new docuseries that has one major distinction - this has never been done before, and for good reason. Go to Full Review

My maternal concerns aside, the show is eye-opening. Go to Full Review

60 Days In is the kind of gritty, reality-of-life, ethically challenged reality television that A&E has made its thing. It's well-produced, insofar as it's tightly edited, creating atmosphere well. But like the premise, it falls apart upon examination. Go to Full Review

03/02/2021 After watching season 1 i started watching season 2 thinking it made sense to want to get input on things. Im not in law enforcement of any kind BUT i will say this.....your "crew" of officers need some relearning about how to treat others such as the inmates. The whole deal with them going without water, when the main broke, for 30 plus hours is bullshit, inhumane, could be deadly and just down right WRONG! Especially when one of your "officers" is standing right in front of them GULPING his drink from his container!! Your whole program in that "jail" is a sham! I can tell you shit you need to do to make things better int here just by watching 1 and 1/2 seasons! Men and Women in your facility need to have schedules. From 9 in the morning or whenever the chow comes until 9 at nite, thne lites out. programs such as rehab classes, GED classes, some form of "working" classes, hygiene classes, classes to teach them respect for others...there are classes of all kinds you people can implement into that "jail" to help the prisoners and stop them from causing problems with others because they are sitting or laying on their asses and backs all day doing absolutely nothing! How do you think you are helping them if you are not taking the initiative to such a thing? Instead of having "volunteers" or "undercovers" going in to just rat on the others that have nothing to do with ur program, try listening to the inmates that will be there, some for life! post things in the "pods" for them to discuss, about what they want to learn about. something that is going to join them together with the same interest! YOU would find that there would be less stress on the inmates and your lackies you call a crew! The black haired woman who drew the gun on the guys in the rec room should have had more of a reprimand about her MOUTH and her actions! n even then the other "officer" wasnt even reprimanding her he was more concerned about her health! Noone for that 30 plus hours was even a shit bit concerned about those inmates! Not even the guy that had the stomach bug and your cronies gave him an aspirin. I think ive said enough......Get your shit together! See more Russell Z 01/03/2021 This show is more complex than it seems lol. They give the contestants these little missions to find contraband, but then you realize the filmmakers probably don't give a sh-- about contraband. They're just throwing people in prison and seeing what happens lol. Also lots of the contestants are cops and veterans, and the show is all about helping the sheriff who owns the prison, so it feels really conservative and pro-jail. But it actually usually ends on a note of everyone saying like "the prison system is messed up, the inmates are living in squalor, America needs to fix this." So there's a lot of contradictory undercurrents going on. See more 11/29/2020 Some of the people brought in put a new face on the careers they had before going in. Tami, poor representation of law enforcement. Too much drama for a person to protect and serve. Robert, a teacher? No way! My child would be taken out of his class for sure!! See more 11/10/2019 Shitting help!! Can no one put any subtitles up?? When these guys are in their cells, or in main rec area, we cant hear what they're saying!!! Give us some subtitles!!@ See more 10/29/2019 I think this shows just fake all it is is another TV show about prison. There's no way that people can get beat up while on cameraalso where's the other people that were in prison before on the other episodes they just all of a sudden got released. What a fake show I would never even attempt to tell people to watch this show because it's all fake it's just another show made up See more 10/27/2019 It's a good show the only things that are annoying me. Is Robert the borderline psychopath. He's like the Joker but the difference is, he's more like a joke without a punchline. Sheriff Jamey Noel, looks like Bobby Hill from King of the Hill. There's times I'm expecting him to say something random like "I huff propane." Maryum is abit self obsessed with her self. So far of watching the show she's the only one that keeps going on about who her dad is. Like for crying out loud we get it but it doesn't make you special. Like the scene where she saw her dad on the news and she was making all then weirdo faces hoping to God they wouldn't show her face when in reality if mention Ali's daughter most people I know think of the boxer not her. Futher more I had no idea who she was ontil I started watching this program. Tami is nothing special that's probably why she hides behind a badge in real life so she can be a bully. Barbara is one these people who are oblivious in real life. If it ain't happening to them and as long as the grass is green on her side of the hill, she couldn't shit and is more then happy to be judgmental. And Zac's the man this should be his show. He's the only one that seems like he's got this in the bag, the only one who is taking it seriously. He's subtle but affective, he gives me a prison break feeling and I'm glad he got that moment with his wife. See more Read all reviews
