When a young couple from the Midwest are hired to manage The Drake, the premiere apartment building on Manhattan's Upper East Side, they discover that things there are rarely as they seem. Mysterious owners Gavin and Olivia Doran are happy to provide for the tenants' needs, but everything comes at a price. The building is home to supernatural forces that imprison and endanger the lives of the human residents, though they seem blinded to that fact as they unwittingly make Faustian deals to achieve their desires and ambitions.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Though at times legitimately scary, 666 Park Avenue's reliance on old gimmicks and lack of intriguing content prevents it from achieving full camp potential.

Stylish Gothic thriller that almost gives away a little too much Sunday. Otherwise, thumbs up. Go to Full Review

In a fall full of unsurprisingly terrible new shows... 666 Park Avenue's first episode is a welcome departure from the norm. Go to Full Review

With a story that constantly feels ten steps behind, it's impossible to get invested in drab characters whose fates already seem sealed. Go to Full Review

Overall, the pilot episode of this new series was great. 666 Park Avenue is no American Horror Story with pushing the limits of television horror, but it has potential to be a suspenseful hour on Sunday night! Go to Full Review

Margaret P @RT13769170 12/04/2024 Great series! Spooky and intriguing. Loved it. Wonder why it was not renewed & why past episodes are hard to find. See more 08/27/2015 A brilliant if short lived supernatural series with a wonderfully constructed Gothic setting and captivating main characters, some of whom represent certain sinister forces, while the others try to find their place in the world. The TV series was loosely based on a book trilogy by Gabriella Pierce. I read all of the books, and they were charming in their own right, but the TV series went with its own concepts, just as original and sometimes even better developed. Highly recommended to fans of horror and the supernatural shows. See more jack z @oceanic815 01/05/2014 666 Park Avenue kind of falls through towards the end, but is nonetheless creepily interesting.
