Aquaman finally becomes king of Atlantis, but he has a lot of learning to do; thankfully, his advisors Vulko, a scholar, and Mera, a water-wielding warrior, are there to give him a hand.

It's a breath of fresh air to see something this goofy, fun, and family-friendly, and the voice cast is clearly having a great time. Go to Full Review

Aquaman is the one superhero that shouldn't take himself seriously. His powers are that he's super strong and he telepathically talks to fish. Those are powers that are ripe for jokes, don't you think? Go to Full Review

Divisive as Aquaman: King of Atlantis' art style might be, it's absolutely beautiful and teeming with imagination as it builds out a vision of the mostly unseen world hidden beneath the Earth's ocean. Go to Full Review

Aquaman: King of Atlantis is a fun and refreshingly all-ages addition to HBO Max's library of DC series. It successfully combines elements of the DCEU version with a more traditional, campy take on Arthur Curry. Go to Full Review

Leticia q 12/12/2023 That got some cool action See more austin c 08/18/2022 This show is really fun to watch if you are actually a fun person who likes goofy cartoons. All of the other reviews of grown adults getting mad over a cartoon is honestly hilarious and I bet most of them are salty Snyder Cultists review bombing after not even watching a minute of the show. This show's animation, jokes and story is fun for the whole family or just yourself. See more Abinesh R 06/21/2022 Amazing cast. It has good story and very funny animation. And the music is great. See more brandon h @BamBam 05/15/2022 I think it's a unique show and I dig it! See more 03/29/2022 This is one of the worst things I've ever seen. More power to you if you like Aquaman: King of Atlantis but this sequel to the 2018 film of dubious canonicity didn't work for me. The voice acting is obnoxious save for the titular character actually sounding like Jason Momoa, the characters are annoying except for the title character, the animation can best be described as Adventure Time on Microsoft Paint and while the story could get insane, I overall didn't care about where it was going. The obnoxious jokes don't help either. If Aquaman finally made the underwater superhero cool again, this one just feels like a desparate attempt to make "Aquaman sucks lol" a meme again. At least I know that even if Aquaman 2 is bad, I don't think I'll be as frustrated as I was with the worst DCEU entry to date. At least it was brief.
