"Blind Spot" favorably repositions a bumpy midseason, taking a break from action and explosions in a favor of fleshing out an underwritten Laurel.
These are all small steps, admittedly, but considering how much the show has struggled to do anything good with Laurel, I'll gladly accept any movement in the right direction.
Pretty solid episode, in my opinion. They did a lot to advance both the Roy and the Brother Blood stories. Laurel has fallen about as far as she can. I hope she now begins to bounce back.
All in all, "Blind Spot" gave us great use of Laurel and Sebastian Blood that had felt a bit strained in previous weeks, though it's clear the most exciting episodes are yet to come.
The episode marks an attempt by the writers to fix Laurel, by far the show's most underdeveloped and problematic character. In that regard, "Blind Spot" is a good start.
The episode of the series featured some major character realignments. Some I've been waiting for impatiently for nearly a year. Some took me by surprise.
Now this would have made for a stronger midseason comeback than last week's underpowered effort.
I want Glen Winter to direct all of Arrow's episodes. He doesn't settle for easy shot composition or blocking (I loved the scene with Sebastian and his mother).
'Blind Spot' is rather action-lite - it's more of a character piece than Arrow tends to indulge in, but it's every bit as engaging as the show's more explosive episodes.
"Blind Spot" is an improvement over last week's episode of Arrow, but still doesn't quite get the blood pumping the way some other episodes this season have managed to do.
While the bulk of tonight's episode was a little clunky, the final sequence was worth the wait.
"Blind Spot" offered some great developments and action scenes, including providing strong material for the show's weakest character.
