05/11/2021 I binge watched seasons 1-3 and could not WAIT for season 4 to start. What a disappointment. It doesn't bother me much that they changed hosts and one of the judges, that's TV shows, but the change in format doesn't do the show any favors. Instead of the two challenges, starting with skills (like the Great British Baking Show), they have a challenge and then a bake-off. Also, it seems like they are leaning into creating drama, instead of highlighting the skills of the bakers, which is what I hate about reality TV in general. The pace was off, I got tired of the long, dramatic pauses for effect. And turning your back on the contestants so you can whirl around and say their name is cheesy and annoying. I hope it gets better but I feel like they ruined a great show. See more Read all reviews
