As hit-or-miss as Boardwalk Empire was during its five-season run, you can't say it didn't have a tale worth telling, full of characters both real and semi-fictional, living their lives until they know damn well they couldn't anymore. Go to Full Review

For a series finale as obsessed with the notion of legacy as "Eldorado" was, being unsure what your main character's legacy is may be exactly the kind of assertion that's called for. The series seems content to let the audience think about such things. Go to Full Review
