Dr. Megan Hunt was a brilliant neurosurgeon at the top of her game until a devastating car accident ended her time in the operating room. But rather than end her medical career, Megan becomes a medical examiner. She develops a reputation for graying the line of where her job ends and the police begin their jobs. Megan realizes she has a lot of work to do to rebuild her relationships with her family members, as they have taken a back seat to her ambition.

It's nice to have Delany back on TV, even in a vehicle as rickety as this one has been so far. Go to Full Review

The dialogue feels overly schmaltzy and somewhat contrived... But Delany is still able to rise above it, delivering a smart character we'd like to know better. Go to Full Review

Body of Proof's series finale, "Daddy Issues..." offer[ed] up resolution to Megan's story, [while] sticking to its crime solving formula. Go to Full Review

Optiman O Dec 28 The show started out a bit slow but some of the episodes were pretty good. In the second season the characters were all developing well enough but some adjustments were made to the cast that were questionable. By the third and final season the cast was firing on all cylinders only to be cancelled by ABC. This was done leaving several major plot lines in the show unfinished and in the air. Poor end to a great final season leaving the viewers wondering what they could have led to…. See more Alesha S Sep 8 I loved and enjoyed all seasons and episodes! Megan Hunt was my favorite actor, as was her partner before he died, and her two guys that worked in the lab. I really wished that 'daddy issues' wasn't the last one to watch. See more Stephen C @bob25009 Jul 23 13 successful episodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring Dana Delany as Dr. Megan Hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See more Louise C 07/10/2023 I watched 'Body of Proof' - all three seasons and found it rather a roller coaster ride. Some stories were believable, others beggared belief. Megan Hunt was more concerned with looking glamorous than following medical hygiene. She turned up at murder sites in four inch heels - What next! In her lab, she rarely used a mask or visor, which seemed unrealistic. There are some episodes that were enjoyable - for me seeing New Zealand's Cliff Curtis as Agent Derek Ames S2 Ep 3, but he was made ephemeral and disappeared after two sessions. This was one of the elements lacking, there was hardly any character development. I think it diluted the show to constantly have the spotlight on the main character instead of an ensemble show, like 'Bones' and 'CSI' which were fun and enjoyable with variety, seeing several characters experiencing different events. Both lasted many more seasons than 'Body of Proof'. I watched this on Disney+ in New Zealand See more Read all reviews
