12/24/2020 Watched 3 episodes and am done with the series because not only is the judging very biased, but Buddy relies just about as much on animatronics, wood frames and other non-edible fixtures as the people working in the other mediums. Typical example was the animatronics episode where Buddie's elf workshop was all out of wood -with some gingerbread tiles slapped on the outside -, the conveyer was wood & metal, there was lots of animatronic movement (ie machinery) and it looked like only the cakes were actually edible. The animatronic team did a far more technically difficult project and it looked better - but once again, they lost because so far, Buddy wins every contest. It makes for a boring competition and the whole thing feels rigged. Why make it a contest when the result is a forgone conclusion? See more Read all reviews
