When Bill Alverson isn't tending to his duties as a prominent Alabama attorney, he's laying down the law as one of the country's most sought-after pageant coaches. TLC follows Alverson as he meets with aspiring competitors to teach them how to choose the right dress, make the perfect speech, show off a special talent, and take the critical walk down center stage in their gown. He also specializes in preparing clients for the all-important interview segment. At home, Bill's candid, tough-love style is apparent during arguments with daughter-in-law Helen Ann, lectures with youngest daughter Stella, and meetings with oldest son and law partner William. Regardless, his family has learned that the best way to survive is to give the sass right back to Dad.
