When a British TV show becomes popular, an American network often makes its own version of the show. In this case, Lifetime is importing this series that pits four amateur cooks against one another as they compete for a cash prize. Each contestant prepares a meal for a dinner party -- with a unique theme, location and menu -- for the other competitors, who critique and score the cook. The contestant who earns the most points for his or her party wins the title of the host with the most and, more importantly, the money. Radio personality Todd Pettengill narrates the series.
