Michel B @HeroicBlood Mar 7 I watched the anime first and unfortunately discovered the Netflix adaptation after all the criticism had already spread. Maybe it’s a bit of pointless hope, but I would really love to see a continuation someday. I’m usually very critical when it comes to liveaction anime adaptations, but with Cowboy Bebop I think quite a few things were done well. It captures the same universe and atmosphere, carries a similar charm, and the cast interpreted the characters in a convincing way while telling a newly imagined story which still sparks some nostalgic moments. They just can’t understand that this is an adaptation and is not meant to be a true copy, and it does a damn good job of being an adaptation they got the feel and core story of bebop while still making something new and fun. True it doesn’t touch the original in depth and character development but it makes up for it with cinematic mastery and more fast paced fun show appealing to a wider audience. It’s a shame all the bad reviews have made a second season impossible it would’ve been fun to see where they went with the series. In short ignore the bad reviews by the sad and angry people and watch the show and create your own opinion!
