Weeks after taking a bullet to the chest from his own son, Dexter Morgan awakens from a coma to find Harrison gone. Dexter is back with a bang. After the disaster of a season that was New Blood, the writers seemed to have gotten it together and came up with a fantastic season. If you are a fan of Dexter, even if you hated new blood, give resurrection a shot. Great season and am very much looking forward to season 2.

This season, Dexter has become a little too protective of others. It's annoying because it makes him seem like a good guy, which he's not. Although, maybe he was like that in previous seasons too; I haven't rewatched them in a while.

Anything Dexter is great and this is no exception, it’s very entertaining. Had a couple of annoyances though - the narrative trick with Deb was too much because she was always yelling and screaming. Also it has a grating 2020 feel in terms of over the top lectures on white privilege (like seemingly every other show). Think people are really tired of it..
