Dexter: Resurrection is the final stage in Dexter fully embracing the trashy show it always was, deep down inside. Go to Full Review

Watching Resurrection is, miraculously, like stepping into a time machine back to the early days of Dexter, when it was slyly funny and had a firm grasp on its storytelling. Go to Full Review

Watching Dexter prowl around New York City is far more compelling than him being miserable in the woods. Go to Full Review

Dexter has its grittier moments, but let’s be real: this particular vigilante has more in common with Adam West’s Batman than Christian Bale’s. Go to Full Review

Michael C. Hall's masterful performance makes him impossible not to love , and 'Dexter: Resurrection' is worth watching for that reason alone. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The way Phillips...holds up such a shaky structure is admirable. Because he sticks to the basics. Bringing back each of [the show's] pillars. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Brett M @Brett42 3d Dexter: Resurrection is a fantastic new series! It is a must watch new show that I cannot get enough of. I was completely mesmerized by the series. The storyline is original and fantastic! It has a star-studded cast. It brought back beloved former characters. I was happy to see Harry and always enjoy the interactions between Dexter and his adopted father. The narration is on point, and I love the sarcastic, sly remarks. I loved the entire concept of the meetings for like-minded individuals. It was so clever. Michael C Hall was amazing as always, and Peter Dinklage stole the show. I was sad when I arrived at the last episode, but the ending was entirely satisfying. It is on par with the first season of Dexter (The OG series), which was my favorite. I am hungry for more. The one criticism I had is the slightly clumsy explanation of the ending of Dexter New Blood, exonerating Dexter of his crimes in that series, but it does not detract from the amazing new story. See more FelMar G @FelMarG Jan 31 Why there are not that many shows like that one? Now I want to rewatch all the series starting from Dexter: Original Sin Just because I need more of that. I can hate the people in Breaking Bad but here I can't hate Dexter. You just love him hahaha See more Joshua H. @ReviewNotCritique Jan 29 Just when you think they’ve run out of way to kill for Dexter, they bring in the heavy hitter star cast. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some of the old cast make a return as well. Hopefully we get a few Deborah flashbacks also. If they could’ve only kept another few seasons of the origin story, life would be perfect. See more Peter T. @wesbags Jan 19 OK for the most part I really really love the show. I think it’s both a fun thriller where Dexter encounters, other killers just like himself and the actors that they’ve cast are awesome. I think the drama between Dexter and his son is pretty good and I really love the new characters who Dexter becomes good friends with. I was surprised at how much heart was in the story, but it’s also funny and thrilling. I think the ending was not quite as strong as I was hoping, but overall really good. See more Eugene S @Eugene404 Jan 18 Thanks for bringing back this cult series. Overall, I liked the season. I wasn't so fond of the cinematography and editing. But what really irritated me was the narrative – what could have been shown in passing was spoken about several times and rehashed so often that it felt like a show for kids. Perhaps this is done to please a modern audience, who are distracted by various things while watching, but what about those who watch attentively and want to enjoy themselves?
