Homeowners with just a few folding chairs and a picnic table in their backyard may be reluctant to throw an outdoor soiree. Landscape designer Billy Derian comes to the rescue in this series that transforms shoddy grounds and outdated patios into modern entertainment spaces. Using the latest materials and design concepts, Derian breathes new life into these neglected areas and instructs viewers how to best overcome obstacles such as domineering hillsides, pesky patches of weeds and barren stretches of dirt.
