The show pretty much falls in place next to its predecessor in terms of storyline, humour and performance.

If you loved Full House, warts and all, you'll get a kick out of the nostalgic feel, and how they decided to pick up the story almost 30 years later as opposed to truly rebooting.
April 12, 2019
Fuller House borrows many elements from the show it's rebooting, but it's just cornier, more forced, and lacking in charm.

Nostalgia sells, and this show is clearly aimed at millennials who watched Full House as kids and now have kids of their own, just like D.J.

Fuller House jumps out straight from the 90s in its storytelling structure and it's a welcoming thing to nostalgia addicts. [Full Review in Spanish]

Netflix revival series is an irritating mix of sappy and meta.

These are.. still three characters we know and love - they're just grown up now.

When the show is centered around [the three women], it's actually pretty decent.

Everywhere we look, we're getting a reboot or revival directed our way. But are they worth it?

It's selling nostalgia hard, but nostalgia for what? Simply because something had popularity for a time does not guarantee it a place in the history books.

Despite both the original and the rebooted series' flaws, it's easy to feel as though these characters are close, no-longer-lost friends.

A kind-hearted and family-friendly reboot/spinoff that should satisfy fans of the original show.

The show exists solely for the fans, a throwback sitcom that is unapologetically corny, silly, heartwarming, full of innuendo, often cringeworthy and, make no mistake about it, fully in on the joke.
February 29, 2016
Instead of giving viewers something new with the same spirit of the beloved original, the Fuller House series premiere attempts tongue-in-cheek nostalgia that does not land and ultimately comes off as more insulting than cheeky.

As Thomas Wolfe said, you can't go home again. As Kimmy Gibbler might say, you can't go home again, because if you do, you might become trapped, haunted by hollow laughter from unseen phantoms ringing in your ears.

There are enough bad sitcoms to while away a quiet hour (paging Dr Ken), you don't need one that happens to be stale as well.

If you grew up with the Tanners on TV, you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of watching how this show intentionally parallels the first, and your kids likely won't care that they're missing the inside jokes since the series is fairly amusing on its own.

It's an overbearing blast of nostalgia that just does not equate into an enjoyable block of entertainment.

Fuller House is sugary garbage that might drive you to madness if you watch enough of it, which is to say it honors its predecessor... incredibly well.

[It's] faithfully as bad as the original!
