A thoroughly entertaining look at the Watergate scandal that is lead by some fantastic performances from it's cast, in particular Roberts, Penn & Whigham.

Excellent performances in a replay of Watergate, mostly focused on Martha Mitchell and the Deans perspectives. The script would have benefits from a deeper dive and more exclusively focus on character development before & after Watergate, instead of tracking too many characters - they all feel a bit 2 dimensional given the total run time for the entire season. Still a worthy watch.

Excellent must see. Acting, script and period wardrobe/sets. And prosthetic make-up! In addition to the watergate break-ins and the accompanying criminal machinations, it tells a part of the story that's too often ignored—how they tried to silence Martha Mitchell. I remember when the story broke but was quickly buried.

Julia Roberts acting was as good as Sean Penns makeup. In other words exceptional. All the 1 star reviews here are from fascists who hate the transparacy of history. Maybe they can get it banned in Texas and Florida.
