The theme of "Good, Better ... Best" is essentially the same as what caught viewers' eyes in the long-running HGTV series "Designers' Challenge," but instead of featuring interior designers, "GBB" showcases contractors. In each episode, licensed contractor and host Jeff Devlin bids out a homeowner's renovation to three different contractors. Each contractor presents his or her vision for the renovation and the homeowner has to decide which plan is the best for them. Once the decision is made, the transformation comes to life.
