Critic Reviews for Grey's Anatomy Season 15

Characters have come and gone, obviously, but it's fitting that Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey is still holding down the fort.

As an Amelia fan, I was not happy with how close he and his babymama came to kissing at that moment! Bad, Owen! Bad, bad, bad!

I'm not sure where this season will be going, and I hope that Meredith's storyline will be able to carry the season and make up for some of the other ones.

Grey's Anatomy is back for its fifteenth season, and, as always, there's a lot of love and loss to go around for the Grey-Sloan gang already.

Jan 7, 2019 | Full Review…

If you thought Grey's Anatomy had exhausted all of its story lines over the past 14 seasons, think again!... While most of our favorite characters are still around, we are introduced to some fresh blood.

It was a fantastic premiere and proof that, somehow, some way, 15 years in, this series still has it. They improved upon and tweaked a lot of the problem areas they had last season. They at least deserve credit for that.

Well done, writers. Well done.

The dream sequence is reminiscent of early Grey's Anatomy, and I love it for that reason alone.

Oct 2, 2018 | Rating: 4.5/5 | Full Review…

Tonight's premiere doesn't reinvent the Grey's Anatomy wheel, but it does play like an enjoyable greatest hits montage of the past 14 seasons. At this point, that's pretty much exactly what I want from this series.

Audience Reviews for Grey's Anatomy: Season 15

While the show, and it's characters, hold a special place in TV history, that is probably where it should remain. 15 seasons in and I find myself asking, is there anything left to say? Grey's still has a way about it with socially aware episodes and moments, it also is beginning to feel tired and overdone. It is time to give these characters some peace and resolution. Let the viewers move on Shonda Rhimes, give us our own peace after 15 seasons of drama!

This show is just "overPCd" just like many others. Seems like some kind of parody. I know the world is changing, and it needs to be shown in TV shows as well, but come on, really? During a whole season, we cannot see any smoking or obese people on the streets, everyone walking is beautiful, healthy, and never seen anyone wearing size 16 or bigger, yes, this is the real world. But we don't have to worry, we have the new gay couple, one of them is virgin and jewish, the other is asian. I suggest to creators for the next season to make Meredith fall in love with someone with Down sindrome. Let's max the PC, yeah?

Grey's Anatomy, the longest medical drama of all time, surprises you with a hip, upgraded 15th season. Its cast: spectacular. The stories: compelling. There are some moments where you are heartbroken and saddened by the complexity of these characters, but Grey's Anatomy is original: plain and simple.

Awesome show. Bailey rocks and even though death seems to strike wherever Meredith goes, it is still heart wrenching. Shonda Rhimes hit crude with this show.
  • Mar 16, 2019
Time for this show to end.
  • Jan 24, 2019
This season is terrible. The only reason it is worth watching is because of the whole Teddy and Owen saga. April should have never left and it is getting old watching Meredith always being the coolest, calmest, when everything has happened to her and no pstd what so ever. Her character is ridiculous and I roll my eyes and have said OH BROTHER so many times with her..the latest being that she now knows Italian. Give me a break.

Done it seen it , 8 times now, end the show!

15 years into this character driven juggernaut, it still feels as fresh and captivating as it did in season 1. Rarely does a tv show allow us to see such character growth and development, testament to why so many of us just can't leave this show alone. We love these characters like family members, we feel their pain, cry together and laugh along with witty dialogue as if we are in the room. Grey's might not please all of the critics all of the time, but we don't care, Shonda gave us what we needed. Long may it continue!
