Fashions from the 1600s show the ever-changing world of women's apparel during the Puritan era of Oliver Cromwell and the court of Charles II. By diving deep into artifacts from their time, Worsley meets the women who took advantage of the tremendous changes and challenged tradition. Women like Nell Gwyn, Aphra Behn and Christian Davies, all of whom displayed attitudes and ambitions beyond their time.
