Llewellyn has created a series grounded in her complicated love for her mother, growing up in a low-income household, and, of course, her queerness. Go to Full Review
John Doyle Globe and Mail 10/11/2021
It's dense with pain and has starkly light moments. Creevy is astonishing in what is a gravely comic portrait of the artist as an anxiety-driven, self-sabotaging teen. A comedy that's magnificent drama at times. Go to Full Review
Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe 08/12/2020
In My Skin has enough mordant humor to cut through all the intensity. There are moments when it resembles the lighter Sex Education, in between all volatility and the struggles. Go to Full Review

Overall, the season is strong and a must-watch for fans of coming-of-age television. It is undoubtedly devilishly funny with a heartbreaking, raw, and unique portrayal of the highs and lows of living with and loving someone with bipolar disorder. Go to Full Review

Alain E @AlainE Apr 3 It’s well done, but currently I am not in the mood to watch the depressing story of a teenager who is trying to find her way in working class U.K. with the additional burden of a mother with psychiatric disease. See more William E @RT34846931 11/12/2021 Superb show, absolutely loved it, Gabrielle Creevy and Jo Hartley were mesmerising and were supported by an equally stunning cast of numerous great actors that there is not enough room to list here. Poppy, James, Rhodri and Aled to name a few all shone in there roles. It is easy to forget what it was like to be a teenager and as an more mature individual now my generation did not have the added pressure of the internet. More shows like this please. Reminded me of the film "Jellyfish" See more Read all reviews
