Some singles have trouble finding a mate and need help doing it. There are many places they can go to try to find a partner, but there's one place they might not have considered: church. In each hourlong episode of "It Takes a Church," members of a flock surprise an unattached fellow parishioner and hold a competition to help that person find a partner. At the end of the competition, the single decides which potential mate to date -- based on advice from the pastor. Hosted by Grammy-nominated Christian singer Natalie Grant, the show visits congregations in cities that include Brooklyn, Baltimore and Milwaukee.
