More than just another throwaway toon. It could be glorious; it was often grim. Above all, it had a broad reach without being all over the place. Go to Full Review

It's one of the great accomplishments of the genre, a success that has never been replicated and likely never will be. Go to Full Review

It's worth a watch if only to see how Batman works alongside his allies-that is to say, not always that well-and for a familiarity with a series the future Justice League movies might draw their inspiration from. Go to Full Review

Smart writing saved the series... and the characters in the series are well developed while remaining true to the core fundamentals that made them interesting and memorable in the comics. Go to Full Review

The indirect sexual stuff and double entendres fly left and right... It's just really annoying that now I even have to pre-screen a TV show that features superheroes like Superman, Batman and The Flash before I watch it with my daughter. Go to Full Review

This is just blockbuster action, sending off the show with a bang. Go to Full Review

Bryan A. @Timmaryturner Mar 23 Justice League (2017) is a DC superhero film where Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team (Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash) to fight the alien threat Steppenwolf and his Parademons, who are seeking three Mother Boxes to terraform Earth. Directed by Zack Snyder, with significant reshoots by Joss Whedon, the film was a box office disappointment and led to a massive fan campaign for Snyder's original vision, resulting in Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Key aspects of the 2017 film: Plot: Bruce Wayne, inspired by Superman's sacrifice, teams up with Diana Prince to recruit metahumans to defend Earth from Steppenwolf's invasion, which involves finding powerful Mother Boxes. Cast: Stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). Production: Zack Snyder directed, but left the project during post-production due to personal tragedy; Joss Whedon took over for reshoots, leading to a diffe See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor Feb 14 Season three of Justice League Unlimited is the definition of one season too many. After the emotional highs the DCAU once hit, this run settles into comfortable, colorful routine. The episodes are enjoyable, breezy, and packed with heroes, capturing that classic Saturday morning cartoon energy. There’s nothing wrong with that; it’s fun comfort viewing. But the storytelling rarely reaches the layered greatness of earlier DC animated projects. Stakes feel lighter, arcs thinner, and surprises safer. Fans will smile, but seldom be stunned. A pleasant victory lap earns a respectable 73%. It entertains without redefining the legacy it inherits today fully. See more Roland @RT95261836 01/10/2024 The best superhero show ever. Well this and the justice league, BTAS, and STAS. See more Dmitri V @RT34650817 07/07/2023 This is my first time watching it and man, the animation really holds up till today and the stories are so good and purely about the good in superheros! I really hope this series gets brought back in my lifetime, I really think multiple seasons could be easily successful now! I also really love the relationship between heros! Many episodes actually focus on the Legion of Doom and their dynamic including the classic "The Great Brain Robbery", in which Flash and Lex Luthor switch brains to hilarious effect (a great touch in that Michael Rossebaum, the voice of the Flash, played Lex Luthor on "Smallville"). All in all, easily one of the best adaptations of DC comics ever. See more Read all reviews
