Audience Reviews for Killing Eve: Season 1

  • May 02, 2021
The most overhyped show of the decade. Boring and annoying characters, portrayed by equally not talented cast. I regret those hours that I spent watching this mediocrity.
  • Apr 10, 2021
Gave this a 3 episode chance. The 90+% for critics and audience make me lose hope in Rotten reviews.
  • Mar 26, 2021
I love everything about this show.
  • Mar 06, 2021
Likely the best season of the show so far. After watching the three currently out, season one manages to capture the essence of the showrunner's intent the most effectively. After sleeping on this show for so long and then eventually getting around to it, all I can say is this: if you haven't watched Killing Eve yet, put it one your list and get to it.

So good, I love to see so many strong character women, grate casting.

Just watch the first season and call it a day. God bless the miniseries format where creators don't feel the need to drag a plot and a good idea to its obsolation because of corporate greed.

So fun! The writing, the acting... everything is perfect!

Killing Eve is one of the best spy dramas I have seen in a while. The acting is first rate, the writing is impeccable, the directing is superb and the costume design is truly breathtaking and utterly original. Villanelle's outfits each season are incredible and makes her a fashion icon. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer both nail their performances of their respective characters. The series is inventive, humorous and does not lack in authenticity.

Killing Eve is my favorite new show of 2018, my favorite black comedy show, my 3rd favorite comedy show of all time, one of my top 5 favorite drama shows of all time, and one of my top 10 favorite shows of all time. Jodie Comer (one of the best portrayals of a villains I have ever seen) and Sandra Oh give astounding performances, they give very complex, powerful, and deep performances and they just have outstanding chemistry and play off of each other perfectly and Sandra is funny and Jodie is hilarious in a dark way. Fiona Shaw, Yuli Lagodinsky, Kim Bodnia, Sonia Elliman, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Sean Delaney gave pretty fantastic performances. The writing is phenomenal, Villanelle is one of the best written villains I have ever seen and Villanelle and Eve's odd but so well-written connection and obsession with each other is just superb. The costumes are exceptional especially on Jodie Comer. The makeup and hairstyling is stupendous especially on Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Fiona Shaw. The cinematography is remarkable. The music is terrific. The fight choreography is great especially in the scene between Villanelle and Nadia. This first season was better than I ever expected, it was an A+
