This real-life series is as real as it gets. Executive produced by Ice-T (who also recorded the theme song), "L.A. Gang Wars: The Peacemaker" documents the noble work of gang mediator Malik Spellman as he coordinates truces between rival gangs in South Central Los Angeles. Each episode provides unprecedented access to gang members and the neighborhoods they patrol, the same ones that Spellman, a violence prevention counselor by day, has dedicated 20 years of his life to keeping safe.
