Bret M. @BretM-3 1d This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest kids cartoons of the 2010s. Not because it is “surprisingly dark and mature for a kids cartoon,” but because the storylines are so good! Across 13 episodes, we see these characters go from arrogant kids to skilled warriors. Watching each ninja unlock their true potential one by one works so well, and the reveal that Zane is a robot still rocks! I also love the evolution of Lloyd. He goes from a spoiled brat to a chosen ninja in training, and I love that! The animation and voice acting is also really good. The Serpentine make for awesome villains as well (especially Pythor)! So overall, you really should give this show a try. It’s got great storytelling, and animation that makes you forget you’re looking at Lego Minifigures.
