Lame and uninterested. I miss the narrator and illustrations.
  • Sep 10, 2020
I enjoy the new format, I personally find it more interesting and entertaining than the first season. I did like Season 1, but for me, the second season feels more like a horror anthology.

A TRAVESTY! Why change everything from season one? TERRIBLE move, and extremely sad.
  • Jan 25, 2020
Season 2 is unrecognizable as Aaron's creation. It's just stories now, not morbid education like I loved about the first season. Might as well not be real things that happened, it is no longer doing the history justice. The story part was just a bonus last time. What we are all here for is the narrator, where is he?
  • Sep 28, 2019
Season 1 and Season 2 are so different that they should have different titles. Everything I loved about season 1, like the narrating, was removed. This is an obvious case of new producers that came in with "Better Ideas" and completely destroyed a shining gem. It would be like having Tyler Perry take over the MCU. The change was that jarring.
  • May 17, 2019
All of the elements like Aaron's narration, the side stories, the graphics were all removed from the 2nd season. Everything that made Lore what it is was removed and just made for a poorly performed mini-series that I would be hesitant to call Lore.

I thought season 1 was great... it was the perfect union of fantastic historical facts matched with a story tellers gift, it was disturbing because it was so outrageous it couldn't possibly be true... could it? Season 2 = Pure garbage, nothing felt real, no narrator for historical facts, equivalent to watching evil dead 3 army of darkness with Bruce Campbell, its somewhat interesting, for a bizarre sitcom, but pure nonsense.

THE SECOND SEASON SEEMS LIKE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOW, AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY. iTS VERY DISSAPOINTING IF YOU LIKED THE FIRST SEASON CAUSE IT WONT FEEL THE SAME EVEN REMOTELY.
  • Nov 22, 2018
The format change destroyed what was an interesting first season. Removing the narrator and the group of vignettes around a central story as a mistake. Too bad. Couldn’t bother to finish the first episode. Won’t be watching the rest.
  • Nov 04, 2018
The total restructure of season 2 made this show less interesting to me. I miss Aaron Mahnke as the narrator. I liked the documentary type feeling in season 1 rather than season 2's dramatized episodes. Also, the episodes don't share the same. Type of content as the first season. It seems as though season 2 is shooting for a ""Black Mirror" type anthology based on historical events while season 1 was more of a narrated account of stories about monsters and legends in folklore. I was addicted to season 1 and I'm struggling to stay awake during season 2. In short, season 1 > season 2. Of course, this is just my opinion...
