9h agoAfter being built up by four different shows, The Defenders feels slightly disappointing. But the weak narrative is luckily saved by the character's chemistry and the action sequences. It should have probably had some more episodes.

Jan 20, 2023The show starts off well enough, the production quality is high, and the show uses color in a fun way to help distinguish characters and locations. Unfortunately, the quality consistently drops as the season progresses, and the fun is pretty much sucked out of the show by the end. It feels like the writing was rushed as it is notably worse than the shows leading up to it (except Iron Fist). The titular characters have rather poor chemistry as their edgy personalities aren't different enough, and this is even more true for the villains. So much of the second half of the season consist of characters on the same side bickering to little effect. It sucks that this gathering of unlikely heroes ends up feeling like none of them want to be there.

Aug 12, 2022The mystical parts are not making good to the series, as with Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage we have got to know street-level crime, so the supernatural do not really belong among these guys. The villans and the story are lame, the "heros" and their unique chemistry are the only reasons to watch this 2.5th season of Daredevil.

Aug 08, 2022The Defenders has flaws and the Hand organization is completely and utterly wasted, but the talent and emotion pays off well. I was digging the plot and the ending was a perfect start to the last season of a masterpiece.
