3d agoI haven't seen the original so I'm seeing this from fresh eyes. Whether this is a scene for scene remake I'm sure like most level headed reviewers are saying that it still has it's own charm and quirks from the actors. I think the cast is great. The pacing of each episode is superb and is thrilling from start to finish in every episode. I will be watching the original Spanish version after. But visually this show is so well done I don't know how it can be topped. I'm sure the Spanish version is better, most originals are, but, to give this show a 1 star!?! because you watched the Spanish one first is just sad. Stop hating, this is a great show!

Jun 28, 2022There is still time to be this season the one and only and prevent Netflix from even more money loss. It's a total waist and makes absolutely no Sense to insist on this bad copy in which you feel like someone watch the original TV show and tried to make their own version by heart though changing every Spanic aspect that in fact is responsible for the success. Let's not even mention the huge plain justification already fully presented within 2 episodes. There is nothing else left. What a big fail.

Jun 28, 2022Yes, I knew this was supposed to be a remake. But while I don't exactly know at which point a remake starts being just a bad copy, I still know with absolute certainty that this is just a copy that lacks the charm, score, and good acting of the Spanish version. Every single character relationship and most of the scenes are exactly the same. The only new addition is the Corean setting that completely fails to mention what a shit state North Corea is. Yes, capitalism sucks. But what about what's going on in the North?

Jun 27, 2022It's alright, but exactly as the Spanish one, only shortened and therefore emotionless. Also /shocker/ includes more sexism, bad acting from the younger cast and flatter characters. I thought with having the interesting plot of a unified Korea there would be more changes, a more creative progression but nah.

Jun 27, 2022A remarkable remake!! Episode 1 sucked, but from Episode 2 it went into orbit. Episode 4 - 6 hit the nail. Don't judge it only with watching a small part of it. It is a slow burn drama.

Jun 26, 2022An ambitious effort that was doomed to fail as it is impossible to even remotely capture the magic and pathos of the original. Often, Korean makeovers of American shows are superior. Alas, this is one of the poorer Kdramas that is neither compelling nor captivating. Not really possible to match or trump the Spaniards's passion-infused storytelling prowess in this case.

Money Heist: Korea, not for me I'm not a fan of Money Heist (the original and the whole plague of replicas) at all, I find it a very normal and simple story, without anything special, I've seen dozens of movies with very similar plots, almost identical... too overrated.. I was hoping that at least the Korean version would be like everything they do, great and above the rest in quality and originality... this time it wasn't like that... Good drama, but it won't be on my favorites list, without anything special, there are hundreds of Korean action dramas a thousand times more original and fun and great, yes, the casting is great and the actors far save this drama
