Young, anti-social computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by the mysterious leader of an underground group of hackers to join their organization. Elliot's task? Help bring down corporate America, including the company he is paid to protect, which presents him with a moral dilemma. Although he works for a corporation, his personal beliefs make it hard to resist the urge to take down the heads of multinational companies that he believes are running -- and ruining -- the world.

Rob A Dec 25 This entire series (4 seasons,) while not without its warts, is a masterclass in acting, casting and computer hacking. Rami Malik does some of his best work as an IT genious with mutiple personality disorder. One of those alter egos, the main one, is "Mr. Robot" (Christian Slater.) There are multiple storylines and plenty of mystery, action and suspence. Portia Doubleday stole the show for me as Angela Moss, I loved every scene she was in. Bravo - this was a great show. It's unclear what each person or group's motivation is, so it's hard to see whether Elliot is winning or losing. That may be the point, and it makes good television.
