Are you a by-the-book person, or do you fly by the seat of your pants and hope for the best? Those camps are represented in "Owner's Manual" by Ed Sanders ("Extreme Makeover: Home Edition") and Marcus Hunt (HGTV's "Hammer Heads"), who take part in adventure-based challenges that test which method may be the more prudent one. The challenges incorporate operating advanced, dangerous and powerful machinery, among them a plane, a submarine and a locomotive. Sanders dives headfirst into each task without any preparation, while Hunt's methodical approach means he'll read every applicable owner's manual before strapping on his seatbelt. If this were a race, we're guessing Hunt would rather finish dead last than, well, dead.
