Like sophisticated structures created on Animal Planet's "Treehouse Masters," building backyard water features seems limited only by one's imagination. Greg Wittstock and his crew at Aquascape Inc., a Chicago-based company, produce water-based retreats so clients can connect with wildlife right at the door. "Pond Stars" follows projects from initial concept to finished landscape, including a pond for rescued turtles at an environmental center, a 30-foot lagoon with an underwater camera, and a replica of a brown-trout stream. Episodes also highlight how water features invigorate the ecosystem.
