Rick Dore loves to bring automotive relics back to life, but first he has to convince car collectors to part with prized inventory. Dore, an award-winning custom car builder known for a radical sense of style, fearless use of color and cutting-edge design, is joined by an unlikely partner -- former pro wrestling superstar Chuck Palumbo, a longtime hot-rod purist who retired from the WWE in 2008 to pursue his passion for motorcycles and muscle cars. Together, they find car hoarders and offer to rebuild one dream roadster from the enthusiasts' overcrowded collections, while the hoarders cover the costs of the remakes by selling Dore and Palumbo other cars and car parts from their massive stockpiles.
