Father-and-daughter acting duo Ryan and Tatum O'Neal starred together in the 1973 feature film "Paper Moon" but had a falling out after that. The relationship between the two got so bad that they were estranged from each other for a quarter of a century before reuniting for this docu-series that showcases Ryan and Tatum's attempt to rebuild their once-strong bond. The father and daughter try to understand the pivotal moments that led to their falling out and struggle to piece together their fractured relationship.
