Lovable schemer Zack Morris leads his pals on adventures at California's Bayside High School. The friends navigate relationships, final exams, school dances, breakups and more while frequently frustrating their principal, Mr. Richard Belding, who does his best to keep them in check. The Bayside gang is rounded out by cheerleader Kelly, jock Slater, feminist Jessie, fashion expert Lisa and nerd Screech, and although the teens' jealousy and rivalry sometimes get the best of them, at the end of the day, their friendship overcomes all.

It would have been wiser to let this one tiptoe into its Saturday morning time slot unsung and unheralded. Go to Full Review

It's all pretty cheesy, but it's also well-intentioned. Go to Full Review

Mike P @RT09890132 04/11/2024 Horrible show. The critics all deemed this "dumb Bell"; and they were all right. When John Hughes famously said "I don't want to produce movies and shows that talk down to teenagers"; he was talking about this! Half the time it shamelessly preens like a peacock; giving us lame-brained teen heart-throb romantic imagery, meant to trigger all the young girls in the audience like Pavlov's Dog; and the other half of the time it traffics in crude bullying type antics; viciously making Dustin Diamond's Nerd-stereotype Screech character the butt of every joke...The message is unmistakably; be cool and cruel; look good and womp on the nerds...And that's really all that matters in life. I mean; I get it that that's how some immature teenage boys act and feel sometimes; but we're supposed to be setting a better example and steering them in a more positive direction...not shamelessly pandering like this. And the hilarious episode when Jesse gets addicted to caffeine pills has been rightfully called one of the worst TV episodes ever by various sources... Overall: Thumbs wayyy down 👎 See more 06/19/2022 If you went to school in the late '80s - early '90s, this was essentially mandatory viewing. See more Read all reviews
