The whole season is like televisual candy that comes and goes so fast that it's all over before you have any time to question the logic.

This show has some excellent storytelling all around, it's more than just a con.

On a show about cons, lies, and deception, making the truth the underlying vulnerability of its characters is a feat, and one Sneaky Pete pulls off with great enthusiasm.

Audience Reviews for Sneaky Pete: Season 3

Season 1 was a masterpiece. Season 2 lost a bit due to some unfulfilling points and more time was allocated to the family since that was the focus and missed some really influentially smaller characters. Then Season 3 did that on steroids and flopped pretty hard imo. The end sort of brought it back, but then they had their beach moment and that was pretty bad. It seemed like it was supposed to be a "bittersweet" moment, but it just made me extremely unsatisfied knowing that was how they were going to end Pete and the Murphy's.

All three seasons are deeply wonderful. I am mad that Amazon Prime has cancelled the series. There were so many strong story lines to develop. Especially Marius and Julia. They were maturing at the same pace, as wonderful, flawed people. I also loved Julia's parents. So much. I'm really bummed that the powers that be cancelled the series. I hope another production company picks it up.

Soap opera city and who really cares why Mom left/died whatever! They strayed so far from Marius being part of the family that it's excruciating to watch. No one gives a fig about the parents dead over 15 yrs ago. And Marius the pro con gets penis struck AND NOW CAREabout an old flame? Oh come on. No wonder there is no #4.

Bag o'shite. All over the place. By episode 3 was looking up , but episode 4 down hill again - back to soap opera territory.

I can't believe this was cancelled!

It was a super fun season with some interesting character turns and development. I'm not disapointed. However, I had a harder time suspending my disbelief than in the other seasons because the plot details were shaky.

Was a bit underwhelmed by season 2, but they really delivered with season 3. Hopefully we get a 4th series.

Season one & 3 the strongest for me. My husband same fan of season 2 as the rest but to me, somewhat too involved that I had to be reminded of characters (so OK, could be I was tired when bingeing that one OR maybe it wasn't as impeccable). He's absolutely amazing. Fortunately, Ribisi is surrounded by equally talented cast lucky enough to be handed a strong, thoughtful script, narrative. and character arc. My only complaint (SPOILER if NOT seen NOT read more)... . Seriously....C'mon! How could he NOT end up with Julia in the end? I know I'm a hopeless romantic but it was SO clear they were building plot to show they are falling for each other (or at least HE for her. He risked his own life MORE than once! No way he'd be TOO cowardly to test the waters given his constant challenges & courage throughout). Then too, she sure got OUT of that box damn easy in the end. She looks strong so maybe was kicking all that time so it helped but we don't SEE that in the final shot of that scene. Think better if they included it. Dunno if Cranston is still involved but my bet is YES as I feel the quality reflects talent all around. LOVE Ribisi!!! Give this man an Emmy. This REALLY-fine show could never work without him.
