If we don’t believe in government, it dies. We cannot believe in it if we do not understand it, and The G Word's depictions of the best and worst of government are a welcome first step. Go to Full Review

The G Word is one of the best looks at government, what it does, what it doesn’t do, and just as importantly WHY it does what it does that I’ve seen in a very long time. Go to Full Review

There's a lot to be learned here, and it's a lot more entertaining than your average civics class. Go to Full Review

Entertainingly tells people about how various government agencies help Americans, but isn’t afraid to call them out if they work against our interests. Go to Full Review

Jennifer T @RT19592952 10/19/2023 The tone was what you would use towards children on a Saturday morning science show. The foul language "upgraded" that to teens who hang out in basements getting drunk or high. The whole thing seemed to be produced to massively offend people of faith and people who actually care about how they come across to other people. Why Obama would produce such an alienating program is beyond my comprehension. The content of the show has been presented by others who were able to do so without alienating their audiences. See more Jonathan G @Desdi 09/24/2023 It's hard to imagine what people didn't like about it. Avid Trump supporters I guess, but he calls out all kinds of government things that don't work, even asks Obama about some of the promises he failed to deliver on. The show can be a little corny at times, but it's content is vital to our understanding of our government. What it does, what it should do, where and why it fails and why it is so important that we understand. It balances the pessimistic with the hopeful and honestly should be required viewing in schools. See more 08/06/2022 Thoroughly enjoyed the format and presentation style to help inform on a number of facts buried, distorted or ignored by mainstream media. More of this please. See more bill v @RT65155752 07/15/2022 I used to love "Adam Ruins Everything." However, Obama has ruined Adam. Trust the government. They love you and are never wrong. Feh. See more 07/08/2022 Most Americans under the age of 50 have had poor or no civics education during their high school years. The result is a country seemingly hopelessly divided without a basic understanding of how the US government actually works. The G Word is a great place to start learning. The show is funny, entertaining and accurate all at the same time. Thank you, Adam Conover, for being a true patriot. See more 06/23/2022 found it very informative.
