Sean C @RT22892834 02/17/2025 Calling bullshit on this show. Patrick has been doing this for 5 YEARS?? No storm shelter l, no designated toilet areas, and no farm? In 5 years. This is just another scripted reality show. Just bad. See more Patty M @RT85024312 01/21/2025 Ridiculously fake . See more Steve C @RT27475848 11/27/2024 It was amazing how much these "off the gridders" loved being on camera and loved talking about themselves. Cult or commune? Neither. Many of the scenes seemed like staged reality tv melodrama. See more David F @RT55571476 11/01/2024 This was a pretty fascinating series, with a troupe of super-interesting, real-life characters. I related right away to a group of ‘eccentric’ people looking to create an alternate society away from American consumerism. I quickly grew really fond of a lot of them and enjoyed watching them solve the problems of a community living off-the-grid. I would love to hear more about why most of them believe that the world is on the brink of collapse. However, I was confused why the producers kept trying to shoehorn Naraya back into the scenario. Also, It was clear right away that this was not a cult at all, so it was weird when they kept returning to that theme. See more Laura I @RT85562698 04/04/2024 This is such an interesting watch! I can’t wait until season 2:) See more Jay Q @JayWTF 12/19/2023 It's a trashy reality show pretending to be an exposé. Paranoid, unlikeable people treat other unlikeable people badly. And, no, they're not a cult. They're just a group of rather immature people who wanna live off the grid and are exceedingly paranoid that the FBI are gonna come get them and... I don't know what, and I don't care. If you want an exposé, skip this. If you want a trashy reality show, watch. See more Read all reviews
