If you haven't seen ventriloquist-comedian Jeff Dunham and his infamous characters on Comedy Central specials, you're apparently among the few. The ratings have set records on the channel, and the DVD sales are through the roof. Building upon that success is this half-hour series featuring Dunham and his puppet pals Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut, Bubba J, and Jose Jalapeno on a Stick in a mix of standup and taped segments.

My problem with Dunham's puppets is that, besides being broad and cornball, they just don't work as characters. Go to Full Review

It's all a complete train wreck, but it still is can't-miss comedy because after watching an episode, the rest of television looks better by comparison. Go to Full Review

Dunham's fans need to laugh, too, and for Comedy Central, tapping into that eager audience - even if some of them have sawdust-filled heads - qualifies as a no-brainer. Go to Full Review
